Nice catches
Finally had a good weather day that coincided with me having time to do something. First I had to service the boat buggy. It developed a grease hemorrhage at one of the axles. A new seal and repack hopefully cured it.
Well, everyone knows that when making repairs, it has to be tested. So as required, I pulled said boat buggy to the water. After putting boat in water I was able to inspect the grease seal and so far no hemorrhage. Well you can not just put a boat in the water without fishing from it. (It’s a code thing ). So I spent a couple of hours at the Anderson Rd bridge in Soddy Daisy. Surface temp at 47 degrees with a wind of around 5 to 10. Managed to boat 4 small crappie from 10 to 15 fow. First time out in 2024 and at least no skunk.
Catch all you can when you can!
