    Default Limit+ crappie 10/13/23

Gary F. and I had a great early morning fishing trip today, 5:45-8:30 and landed 20 keeper sized crappie and had several pull off after hookup. Sometimes they just don’t stay plugged. Gary also landed a 10” yellow bass and we both had several short fish that weren’t tall enough for the ride on the Tyner Lane shuttle.

After giving away all the crappie that I had in my freezer, I am now in the process of restocking before Striper and Walleye season get here. Dr Phillip G and I did make one trip up to WB tailwaters on the first day of fall to check things out and I did manage to land a 19.5 lb Striper. We had a great day that day with 5 smallmouth, 36 big White bass, and 1 Walleye. Phil went back the next day and didn’t do very well.
