I took my friend Biofisher this morning in search of and we hit it early before daylight. We fished until we started to sweat around 11 am. We landed 10 keeper crappie from 4 different locations.

The crappie are still scattered but seem to be getting closer to each other. All our fish were caught between 15-20 feet of water. Lights Out BG slab slayers early, then Green Lantern Mo Glo and Bluegrass caught the bulk of the fish.

Water temp has risen to 82 degrees and there was a gentle flow in the main river channel. The willow flies will have a major hatch this weekend. We saw a few on one dock. These are the firsts that we have seen. Full moon in June is when we have a major hatch. Bluff fishing coming up soon. Grin.
