    Default 2/19/23 Chickamauga

Launched out of Soddy to shoot some docks. Water was muddy (about the color of Yoohoo) with lots of floating debris. Wind was pretty rough also. Probably being a good day for trolling. Marked lots of shad and fish scattered everywhere. Got in some dock shooting practice to shake the rust off. Also ran the motor some it certainly needed it. The SIL caught the only fish of the day. Found lots of nice places to fish when the water gets better. Did get to see a Bald Eagle perched in a tree. I will post a pic when he sends it to me

Glad you had a good day out. I don't feel near as bad now. Your results were a lot like mine there under the same conditions. That area does get a lot of debris and muddy after rains. I have seen the bald eagle a few times. Can never get my camera out in time.

Water almost muddy enough to walk across. I say some fella in a dark colored Lund with a trolling rack on the back when I was getting ready to load up on the trail. Looked like one of then had a Blue and White Crappie.com truckers hat on. I figured they did a lot better

With Chester Frost ramp closed, how was the ramp traffic at Holly?

Probably 10 there at 7:30. Still spots left to parkwhen we left at 1. The ramp by the bridge had a few spots left as well

When I put in at Wolfteever I was questioning if I should have put in at Holly Park. Glad to hear the conditions were similar to what I saw. Based on what I was seeing on the screen it is time to push or pull jigs. I was seeing a lot of fish in the 7-13 ft range.

That is what I was seeing. And they were scattered all over the place. The lake looks within a foot or 2 of full pool this evening. The level has came up a lot. They will probably pull it back down just as fast
