You guys from that area need to start a spring/fall camp . It don’t have to be fancy just a day or 2-3 where yaw get together and fellowship and fish and have a meal or samiches or something. Just clean fun and fellowship and meeting up with one another so you can put a face with the name and maybe make some new friends. Most of my best friends came from meeting folks in my area from right here. Several of us now drive 2-3 hours or more at least once a year for couple days fishing/fellowship on different lakes.

Start small and let it grow. Picking a good spot to meet at may be the key DSJ. I don't know how these things work, but to me keeping it inexpense and in a good central location would be a factor to consider. I know you guys have much more experience than I do with these things. I like the Spring and Fall thing.

I am only familer a little with the Chattanooga, Chickamauga area myself. I know there are several parks and rec areas around here. I have been waiting to here Drumking chime in on this. I am sure there are places familer to you DSJ also up your way. Maybe some of the other folk who do this sort of thing could give some suggestions. If I talk to much just tell me to cool it.

Count me in. Since I moved to Ooltewah (Collegedale) in 2006 I have fished solo.
