This morning before daylight, Biofisher and I hit the lake for Gary’s last trip until mid October. It was nearly a copy of yesterday’s trip. Better fish today and we landed 13 out of 16 crappie hookups. I did catch a yellow bass and a big Skipjack. Gary had a nice bass finally pull off after a two minute fight.

Again, the fish were deep and got deeper after it got daylight. My last keeper was at 7:30 and I let a 1/8 oz jig settle for a 25-30 count before slowly crawling it just above the bottom. It was the biggest fish of the day. 13.25”.

After the sun came up, the fish must have moved to another lake. Lolol. We could not get any bites although we could see fish on our graph. Colors today were Lights Out, Threadfin Shad, Crystal Lam with a garlic spike it on the tip of the tail. I only fished with Threadfin and Crystal Lam.
