Sounds like a decent time catching fish
Had to meet a surveyor Friday afternoon so I took the day off to get a morning of fishing in, drove over Thursday night. Hit Esha's for breakfast at 5 and put in at Brittany Ford ramp at 6:00. I slow trolled out to the mouth of West Sandy and back, picked up 8 by 10:30 with 6 throw backs. Started in the 8 - 10 foot range with no hookups. I moved out to the 12 - 14 foot range and that's where I stayed, water temps were 60 - 62 degrees. Best colors were black/Chart and popsicle/chart in Strike King curly tails. 2 of the bigger females dropped eggs while I was getting them off the hook, all whites, no males. Saturday morning caught 10 in about the same time. Had to troll areas a little shallower to keep out of the wind Saturday. All in all it was just steady enough to keep from getting bored.
Good luck all
Ray

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Glad you are still at it, and thanks for the quality report. That's how it's done!
We bought property a couple weeks ago and will be building our retirement house over the next year and a half or so, reports will become more frequent as the process continues. Looking forward to days ahead for sure!
Thanks,
No we're building at West Sandy Lane in Britton Ford estates, pretty sure we will be neighbors within a stones throw of each other.
Ray
I fish that area from Britton Ford on out.

Glad you are retiring and building a home here. There are good fish in the Sandy.
