Thread: Met a member today

Members seem to be on the scarce side here in East Tennessee. I did see a Crappie.com sticker at the ramp. Was hoping to see the fella out on the lake. We must have went to different areas. Didn't see him again

While exiting Walmart today, I noticed a gentleman in the Vision Center wandering aimlessly in obvious need of help. Upon closer examination I realized he was our very own Drumking! Seriously, what a pleasant surprise. Mr. Drumking is a very nice man willing to share his experiences on the water. He didn't blow me off after exchanging pleasantries, he actually took his time and spoke with me offering advice and tips just like he does in his posts. It was an honor meeting you today, Rob. I enjoy meeting fishermen and talking about how to catch these critters that we chase. My wife, Wanda was in there to get new glasses so I had plenty of time to talk. I never say that she is slow, but she is deliberate. Grin. Don’t tell her that I said that or …..grin. It only took her about 20 minutes to pick out the frames that she wanted.

That's pretty quick for picking frames DK. I have been known to take that long to pick out a bag of crappie jigs

How does a man go about getting a Crappie.com window sticker? I'd proudly display one on my truck

I know I've been threatening to post a report for several weeks, but hasn't happened. I've got 2 newB's from the 'salt mine' that are committed to try their hand at it tomorrow. Hearing temps are hitting the low 60's - guessing fish should be getting super-shallow??
