    Default 10-7 report

Still got the skunk off with 3 more trips to the local lake. Last trip on 10-7 caught 72 spidering. Had 13 keepers. It is till running 5-7 small ones to a keeper. They are hungry for most any jig. I am using BG monkey milk and BG electric chicken and had no reason to change to others yet.
Their comfort zone seems to be in 10-12 ft of water and holding around 8 ft deep. On 10-4 Ihad 10 keepers from 75 total and on 10-1 I had 7 keepers from 49.

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

I resemble that comment. At least in my area it was just as well to be at work. The fog didn't ease up until lunchtime.

Nice haul! That will make a fantastic dinner for sure!

Hubs and I went today, but didn’t have that kind of luck. He didn’t catch a single crappie, and I only caught one. At least it was a good one, a smidge over 13”. I was thrilled but I think my husband is about ready to sell the boat LOL.

Our lake of choice is still MUCH higher than normal, but we saw plenty of fish on the fish finder. Just couldn’t get them to bite. Maybe we’ll figure it out eventually. It was a beautiful day to be on the water, so I enjoyed it. We plan to try a different lake next time - it’s not that much farther away, and it will be fun to explore a new place, so I’m looking forward to it.
