I don’t fish the chick but with the warmer weather sounds like you are headed in the right direction!
Howdy! Living in Cleveland and I'm going to start fishing the Chick for some crappie soon. Caught a bunch around one of the creek mouths around Cottonport landing a few weeks ago. Is that the best strategy for that area? Anything else i should try or areas i should go? Just got a livescope on my boat so my plan is to start checking brush a little further back in the creeks around.

I have not fished in a while but you are definitely on the right track. I would read Drumking's reports and put that information to work for me and fish shallow brush, docks and areas like he mentions in his reports. Good luck and don't forget to look up from the livescope once in a while and remember you are out in nature and not at the video arcade.

In the last couple of weeks I have found them in all parts of the creeks. I wouldn't be afraid to look out in the middle of the creek as well as the fish are still moving up. Good luck!
Any where you fish currently around ware branch, Chester frost, Harrison Bay, an Wolftever creek the crappie are active An moving. If you can find water temps above 57 degrees that’s the magic number for more active crappie. Good luck An give us a report with your catches.
