Thankfully, I wasn’t on the naughty list because Santa gave us an early Christmas present. Biofisher and I hit the water shortly after daylight and fished the Wolftever creek channel for just over two hours and ended up with a limit of crappie (15) plus 7 yellow bass that I kept and a couple of small white bass plus my pet Drum. I let my pet go. Lolol

We really had some quality slabs as a couple were 13.75” and most of the others from 12-13”. We did have a couple 10-11”. Didn’t measure them all.

Water temp was 48.7 degrees and the wind started off from the NE around 1-3 mph, but by the time we quit it had picked up to 8-10 mph and coming from the North. I fished with Bobby Garland Minnow Mind’Rs and Baby Shads. Colors that worked for me were, Lights Out, Red Shad, Mo Glo Green Lantern, and Screamer. Gary fished with Mo Glo Blue Ghost and Monkey Milk. I don’t know what else he tried. The fish definitely favored something with chartreuse in it. 3/32 oz jigs and fish on the bottom over 20 feet deep.

I haven’t posted in probably a month or so because I have been Striper and Walleye fishing below Watts Bar dam with a couple of trips below the Chick to fish for big bluegills. I have had moderate success with those fish.

After I posted this, I realized that I have deleted the Walleye pics and the biggest Striper pic which was 15 lbs plus 8-10 ounces. Sorry.
