Glad you got out. sorry for the bad luck. I'd call someone for suggestions on that one. Don't know if warranty might cover that?
As you know, every trip has a back story...
3/29/2020
Changed my boat set up or added to in other words, trying different methods to be a better rounded Crappie fisherman.
Tried it out Sunday the 29th, my fishing or catching them improved. Thank You, to he who shall remain nameless... I put 6 keepers across the gunnel along with one of those ditch pickles and a little fella who apparently didn't want to miss out on the fun.
Now for the rest of the story.

Hooked up around 8 am, headed north. Not thinking about the water level I went to one ramp and quickly figured out it was unusable, after one of my axles dropped off the end of the ramp and my boat hadn't even touched the water. Off to a nearby ramp to continue my adventure. After getting underway and reaching my location I set my offerings and started in. I managed a few little ones in some of the bends along the creek channel. As I went back in the creek the fish size improved I managed 12 across the gunnel that were better than keeper worthy.
THE GOOD.
As you know, when out crappie fishing anyone is apt to crash the party, well this girl showed up and man was she a fight on a 12' rod. Took at least 15 minutes to get her in the boat. Guessing she would go 4 -6 lb.
THE UGLY.
I was out for about 5 hours having a good day in my opinion. So I figured it was time to call it a day when I had made a fishless couple passes along this one stretch of creek channel. The fish seemed to be on the break up next to a shallow bank area. The depth was 6 - 8 fow, the water temp ranged from 64 at 10:30 am when I arrived to 68 when I left the area around 4 pm. The wind has been a nemesis for the past month. I only had to run a short distance on the river to get to the creek where the ramp was located. I reached the ramp, took my time in the river with the breakers rolling as I always do. It's too rough on the bones to do it any other way. Uneventful voyage. I put the boat on the trailer with out issue and when I climbed down to hook up the wench strap, there it was. My heart sank, then I was angry. This couldn't have came at a worse time in the season. My 2 year old, less than 30 hours on the motor, respected and desired manufacturer of boats brands. Well here it is.
THE BAD.
I'm going to sit here finish my coffee and consider cleaning house on this rainy Tuesday to take my mind off Magnolia's broken nose. Bless her heart, waiting to hear from the dealer as what to do to get her repaired, warranty.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6tenncrappie, drumking LIKED above post

Good looking catch and rod set up. It looks like it worked on the fish. As for the young girls nose, ouch, I know that had to hurt. Hopefully it can be fixed without problems and delay. Good luck kind sir.

I don’t know if your boat is a Ranger or a Triton (Same hull) but I’ve known of a few that cracked like that and the factory replaced the hull. Make sure you get with the dealer. If you are the original owner you have a lifetime warranty on the hull.

When I saw the title of your post, I heard the music from the movie. Sorry about the ugly and I’m okay with the good, even though you trolled (just kidding folks), the bad happened to me the other day when I belly hooked one of those channels. I keep the blues and flats, but reject the channels. Get that boat fixed quickly but my boat is open to you when you want to go.
nice looking rig and it appeared you had a good day until loading out. how in the wide world of sports did that happen? Hope you get it repaired quickly and get back on the water.
