Just seems like those times were similar to ours, and location too.

Thanks guys for the reports. The wind looks like it may not be a factor this week. We will see but ti looks like after today we get a break!!!!!

Well, I put in at kirby for a couple of reasons. Lost pond is hard to get to from anywhere it seems like and I was going to run up to the north end if I was not catchin em at the first stop. If you run the ditches it dont take that long to get LP from Kirby.

Back to the report. I guy that I work with and his wife caught the limit Sat on the north end. Big uns

See now I wanted to go back to the north end. They absolutely shut down there when the cold weather hit and I wasnt sure of a recovery. I have been meaning to get up that way but havent yet. as far as lost pond goes, you could put in at samburg I think would be closer. But it is easy to shootup the channel in KP and out rag point ditch over to lost pond.

    Were they jigging or trolling??

Good to know Bandit...I too would like to know how they were fishing. I have done really good on the north end this time of year. However, lately the bite has been rather slow up there.

    Water temp 80
4' foot of water.... 3' foot deep
Almost all where on bottom hook.
    open water.

Got out on the Lake and started fishing right at 5:30 this afternoon. Don't know if I hit the spot or they where on, they bit light but they bit often and around 6:30 they turned off...caught maybe 4 more fish between 6:30 and 7:30. Caught several cats, one huge one. They bit so fast I lost count. probaly 30-40 fish, had 12 keepers,

Most where male and several were 70% black

Good report, I hate catching a 3-1 dink ratio.

Maybe the fishing will hold up. What are you guys thoughts on the spawn. I mean I am confused as to what the fish are doing....

    Gang,

One of my buddies is fishing this morning...spider-rigging in the Swan Basin area and Moltrie Field area. He has caught several dinks and only kept 4 as of 7:45. We think that most of the fish have spawned and are in that "post spawn" shock phase. We did have a good report of fish being caught on the north end in the trees. He is going up there in the am and try them.

I will be in Darlington for the race this weekend...darn it...no fishing for me. "Gentlemen, start your engines!!!" I can't wait!!
