    Default Short but Sweet

Got off work this evening and no rain. Excellent! Swung by home and grabbed the boat. Not knowing when the next round of rain was coming, I tossed in a rain coat just in case. I have been anxious to fish an area that usually holds fish this time of year and within 30 minutes I was there. Managed to catch 47 crappie, 5 bass, 3 white bass and 4 lampreys. 26 of the crappie would keep and I rode 15 of them around in the boat for a little while but released them all before heading out. The lampreys were also released. Only without their heads. I'm sure the catfish will love them!

Live well shot looks like an about even mixed bag. Those Lamprey seem very numerous in your area, any thoughts on why? Just curious.

A productive evening! I’m guessing Tellico, because that is the lake where I have consistently found Lampreys. I Don know why.?

    Good catch...
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

Well done. It's nice to see the weather starting to cooperate is so many places. It's very encouraging.
