Tougher day today. I think the full moon hurt us. Caught 30 or so, but only ten keepers. Water and weather were the same as last week. Once the wind died down late afternoon we switched from 1/16 to 1/32 and caught the majority of our fish by slowing down the presentation. As of this post, I bet the crappie are tearing it up under the moon. Bobby G baby Shad was again the ticket today. Switched to Vegas Shad and caught the majority of my fish. Partner did get one 15 incher.

My fishing partner caught three smallmouth today on the baby Shad. Two were keepers over 18” and the biggest one was pushing 4lbs! This made a mediocre day great!

If your partner caught that 4lber on UL gear, bet is was a ride. I stuck a 15.5 Smallmouth this afternoon and he thought he was trying out for the Flying Wallendas!!
