Finally after weeks of busy ness, Candi and I were able to get out for a couple of hours and fish for crappie with her favorite technique.

I got started off strong while she was knocking the rust off, but when I talked her in to fishing with the hot lure today (black/chartreuse Stump Bug) she finished strong and caught the last two keepers.

We had 7 nice keepers that have a date with a hot oven tonight and several fish whose eyes were too close to their tails to take home. Grin,

Water temp at 2 pm when we stopped fishing was 53 degrees in Wolftever creek. Flow rate in the river was 158,000 cfs, but we didn’t have time to go to the river. We just hit docks close to the creek. Water still sandy brown but you can tell it is clearing up fast. Just in time for the rain tomorrow.

Cuonthelake was great company today and she can still outfish most of you guys. Lolol. She is a great student and we had a ball reminiscing about her Dad today. He must have been a character.
