I use cajun red line on my rods. Will they show under the black light?
The light I have is a floating one. Do you think that the floating or submersible work better? I'm guessing live bait works better for smell and movement.

I'm going to go look at black lights today....can't stand it.

I talked to a guy, that says he is going tonight.

He says the only light they use is some head lights. and they put glow sticks on bobbers and troll around.

He supposed to let me know, might have to try it this weekend.

How do they breathe? the bugs are bad enough in the day I couldn't imagine being out there at night right now. You would eat enough bugs to justify them as supper.

    Cracker,

Early one morning I saw a guy out on the lake about an hour before the sun came up. I drove past him and he had some lights on the fron of the boat that were no like head lights, but put out about 15ft of good light. I was about 50 yards away as I passed and I could see the tips of his poles well and his lines. It was a cool setup, and I know he didnt need lights on the bobbers.

I didnt think the fish could see well enough at night to feed on passing minnows, but that they fed on schools of them. Let us know how that goes. That would actually be better I think than just sitting still, if the fish will bite as you troll at night.

As far as the bugs go, skeeter dope, and black lights should do the trick. BTW, you find any good 12 volt black lights, and if you did where?
