Nice !
Started around 4pm and only had 1:30 before our Wednesday nighter started. Went back to the motherload spot and it was still loaded. Caught 6 shorts quickly and two just over 10 inches. Wanted to check a deep tree that I found last week. Put the livescope on it and it looked like it had hundreds of crappie. Only had a few minutes, 2nd or 3rd drop i hung up and broke off. Retied and I had been blown off the tree. Going back to the tree I see a small brushpile that had a few fish on it that looked like good bass. Pitched a 1/2 shakey head with a 10" worm at them, got thumped, set the hook and up came a 16" crappie. Put her back and went and chased the greenies. The bass were slow until 8pm and then we had a great hour of catching. I think we landed 15 or so bass, some whites and a catfish. Got to see a fantastic moon rise right before dark. Got home in time to fry up 2 crappie and 3 whites.
Nice !
That is a hoss of a Crappie, been a while since I saw a 16 inch fish in my boat, and in August to boot. The moon was nice last night, almost full and the plated shot is awesome, love to see the fruits of our labor fried and served up fresh.
Great pictures
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Congrats! Fine looking Crappie.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
A good deal for sure! Congrats

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
