Candi asked for Monday before anyone else, so it was her turn in the Tyner Lane shuttle, aka Tracker 175 TF, this morning. We were out before daylight and went to the river and began fishing before I could see my line, but the fish didn’t mind it at all.
We must have doubled on crappie 4 times or more as the fish were very active today. We landed 27 total crappie and Candi got into the trashy green fish experience with a 3 lb 1 oz Largemouth bass. I added a boat paddle sized White bass to my crappie catching.
Candi asked me to clean 4 fish for her today but we actually kept 5 plus the LM bass for me. Wanda wouldn’t let me come home if we released her bass. Lolol. All other fish were released. Candi took big fish honors with a 13 3/8” White crappie. I may have had the edge on numbers slightly. A little consolation for the teacher.
Water temp was 79.8 and there was a 45,000 water flow this morning. Storms are predicted today so we quit fishing before 9am. Wind suddenly got up enough that it was white capping in parts of the lake that was away from the shoreline. Color didn’t matter today and I fished with MM and Slab Slayers and Candi fished with several different baits. Fish bit them all.

Good Job you two! I'm just waiting for the weekend...
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6drumking thanked you for this post
Great pictures and catch. Hard to leave the Gills alone when they are biting but I hope to add to the TN Crappie board reports soon.
