Yea I would really like that and would be interested in doing something like that.
hey i have been pondering in my mind and i wanted to throw the idea out of a crappie club here in this middle tennessee area. lord only knows we have a ton of bass clubs in the mid tenn /nashville area. i have seen a ton of guys on here who talk about crappie fishing in the area lakes so i think it is a natural fit for us to organize a club. anyway guys i just wanted to throw out the idea and see what kinda response i get from all of you and go from there. lets do this guys.

Count me in fellers.
Put my name down.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
What exactly would this crappie club do? I've never been in a fishing club, so I don't know what they do other than host tournaments from time to time.
yes this would include tournaments that you can participate in. i mean it is your choice if you would want to fish them or not. but it would be a fun environment to exchange knowledge and meet other anglers in the area as well.
Sounds like fun to me, I'll play!
"You Can't Catch Fish From The Couch!!"
I think you are the one that started this same thing up a while back aren't you?. Your a fishing guide aren't you?. I seen were everybody was voteing on the lake of there choice to have the trounaments.

Uh yeah, but what ELSE would this club do besides hold tournaments?Originally Posted by midtenncrappie1
Some clubs do different charity work. The bass club that I'm in participates in "Casting Kids" (I think the name just changed to Reel Kids) and then there's a yearly easter seals event where boaters take special needs kids fishing. During that event, there's the kid, their "nurse" and then the boater, and you fish for bream or whatever is biting.Originally Posted by Matt Smith
