Heading to Reelfoot..Upper Blue Basin..any suggestions.

Have not been to Reelfoot in years...spur of the moment my son and I going up in morning for a couple of days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Planning on Upper Blue Basin unless told other wise. Thanks in advance for your help.

The fishing has been hit-n-miss on the north end. Scattered reports of fish being on the trees and in the pads, with some being caught in shallow stump beds. I personally have not fished there in a couple of weeks. Been fishing the Kirby Pocket and Samburg area. Be prepared to catch alot of small fish right now.
