You might try Chattanooga fishing forum for Parksville reports. I've seen lots of striper and spotted bass reports on there. Maybe perch as well. I haven't been to site in a couple of years.
Anyone have any info about yellow perch at parksville lake.

There are a few. Most of the best fishing is above the white water section on the Ocoee.
No.3 is where most go. Dirt ramp, one way in and out. The turn around is tough, if you have a trailer but still very doable. Forest Service campground is nearby.
A kayak fisherman died about a month ago. Fishing alone, found his kayak and pfd. Unsure if had a heart attack, fell out or what. Body has not been recovered (had a high water event afterwards that complicated finding it).
No.1 has perch too. Harder to pattern. Public Forest Service has 2 launches (with fee). Some of the ponds on the north side of the highway, adjacent to No.1 have them too. No kayak needed.
Thanks so much for the info. Do you know if there are several kayak fishermen that use this area, and are the waters rough or does it depend upon power generation. Again thank you for any and all help.

Do you happen to know the name of the access area you are speaking of above #3?

It's the only one, and it's calm. No. 1 can get a little choppy from wind (and from ski boat wakes later in the year)
