Norris is a rough nut to crack. Deep and clear highland reservoir that fluctuates about 20ft per year. I used to fish it regularly for walleye in the early spring and always had my Crappie gear with me. The population of Crappie was never great, not a lot of good spawning territory, and they ended up reducing the creel limit to 10 fish. I live about 45 minutes away, and to pull the boat that far for 10 keepers, bypassing Cherokee, has not happened much over the last few years. When I did fish over there I mainly targeted lay downs in the upper end of the Clinch. The lake is known for Stripers and Smallmouth.
