There aint anymore in there.I caught them all last year...lmao....Check your PM's and I will share with you where I got some last year.
Does anybody know where i can begin a search for shellcracker on JPP? I've never caught any but i know they're in there. I fish a couple small bodies of water for them with pretty good luck - just looking to increase spots to hit in the years to come.

I`ve been told there aren`t any shellcracker in Priest, so I go to Old Hickory and catch them there. Normally the full moon in May is the time to catch them if the water is warm enough.
Trust me chris , there's cracker in priest. Ijust don't know where to start looking for 'em.
When you find out where to go let me know and we can use my boat and I will swear to never tell.
Hey Bad there is a place on Ky lake just out of New Johnsonville they recycle cardboard up there.Well right below them on the water there is tons of big shellcracker. They where bigger than any I have ever seen anywheres.Just look for weed beds and near timber there will be usually some close by.

I've only fished ky lake once and it WASN'T a memorable experience...a little far of a drive for me for a day trip...now if i could find some on the tn river somewhere close - that's a different story.
I hear a lot about Nickajack for shellcracker's. Chickamauga has a lot of gravel and so does Normandy, but I haven't heard of anyone catching them on Normandy.
There is a lot more gravel on Priest the closer to the dam you get. Try the road bed south of Hole-in- the Wall island.
You could buy one of these. Humminbird 900 series. And then find all the beds like these.Originally Posted by Baditude

How has your experience been with the Humminbird? Some are complaining of problems, but I'm considering purchasing one and was curious if you had any issues.
