Thread: Snow on Friday??? Guess What....

...well, I reckon this latest cold front will give 'em lockjaw for awhile...just when the temps were getting right in the headwaters...my grandpa was right..."there'll be one more freeze around Easter..." was what he used to tell me...wadda ya'll think?

Yep I think this cold snap will knock'm in the head.
And here I had a 3 day weekend coming up, wheres that dang global warming?

I think if the sun stays out, they will remain shallow. Give it a couple days, and they'll start biting again.

Don't think it will slow much... Heck three weeks ago I was catching them in a snow storm. Might cool the surface water a little.

Surface temp Sunday was 71 degrees bet it doesn't knock it below 64 temp

It was so cold that the crappie monkey could not play in the minnow bucket because of the skim of ice on top. I'll be taking this weekend off and start again next Friday highs in the 70's and low mid 50's. Cracker you be on the lake next week any?
cypress it should be time to try tri timbers or the deep water adjacent to it for some slabs be down next week!!

heading there (foot) this wednesday, hope to be on the water thursday morning. are the crappie still biten. Whats the weather going to be Cracker. Gator I got your cell, will call you thursday.

Been cold, and windy up here in Northern KY, but they are biten, me and brother caught 48 friday, and 59 yesterday. Had the duck blind heater in boat to stay warm. lol
