    Default Fishing with cuonthelake 100118o


    What is a better way to open October up than with a short trip with my number one and best student, Candi? What better way to single pole fish than with Curtis Hobbs’ Litewire hooks, Slab Sauce, Bobby Garland Slab Slayers and a beautiful calm warm day?

    Our total catch-for the two and one half hours was 25 crappie, 2 bass, and one catfish. All fish released and were caught on Ghastly!innows and Lights Out Colors.

    Candi recently purchased a new Terrova TM and wanted a tutorial from me this morning and it didn’t take long for me to tell her everything that I knew about the remote. She will make a post about it soon, so I will leave that part of the story to her. Enjoy the pics.

    Those are some Slabs, especially that last one. The current must be turning them on down there big time. Enjoy all our water, it is still leaving in a hurry.
