Default This Post is Rated “G”

The Seventh Letter in our Alphabet begins many words that are relevant to this website. First and foremost is a Southern Charter Member whose Screen Name is simply “G”. 75k posts and counting, he is familiar to most and keeps an eye on us all. This past year our Founder introduced a new scent and named it after him, simply called G Sauce. The G also stands for garlic, as it is a garlic scented variation of the original Slab Sauce. The original formula needs no introduction here as myself and countless other members have tried, used (and written about) it with great success. I ran out of my first bottle of the original last week and ordered another bottle, along with a bottle of the new G sauce.

Shipping was fast and secure, thanks Slab. This past week a Northern member did a video pitting the new G sauce against the Original , and I believe both performed well, with the edge going towards the G sauce. I decided to give the new sauce the old college try on Wednesday, not a video or head to head test, just decided to take it out to my normal spots, slather up a jig and go fishing.

First spot, no bites, but nothing on depth finder so off to my next spot. First drop - thump- nice keeper.

A 12in Fish is a Slab in my book in the hot month of July!
They were inhaling the jig, I had to break out the hemostats to retrieve my offering many times!

In all fairness the depth finder was absolutely covered, 20ft deep and stacked up, but I still had to convince them to bite my bait, and many did, both White and Black Crappie of many sizes.

A good mess followed me home, with 5 really nice ones digging the “G”sauce!

In conclusion, I really like the new formula, to me, the “G” could stand for “Garlic”, “Great”, “Gravy” or “Grand”. Maybe I should have stayed home and mowed the “Green Grass”, but the words of Richard “Gene” convinced me otherwise, as it was “Good”for me!

As far as my rating of the “G” Sauce.....I give it an “A”! Give it a try!

Quick, somebody make a run to David's house!! Not sure if the house can withstand the ever increasing pressures of his steadily swelling noggin'!!!

You’ve got it going on, for sure! I’ve got too much nonsense (work) going on, and haven’t found time to fish. That’s gotta change! Great report! You’re creative and articulate use of the written word has dramatically changed the perception of the inhabitants of the Appalachian Region, a.k.a, hillbillies.

Thank you for the kind words ET. Since June these Summer fish have been camped out, very hungry, and very catchable. All that is about to change as they (TVA) are about to pull the plugs and send all of our water down your way, down by DrumKing, and on out to Sea! That depth finder pic will be dry ground soon. Add to that our Fall Semester will start in about 3 weeks, and with the afternoons getting shorter, my fishing will be cut back drastically. This site is a wealth of information and i am glad to contribute. I lurked for many years, unsure of my place, but having reaped the rewards of knowledge, I do enjoy sharing my experiences. Thanks again guys...and gals!

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
