    It's a confirmed/documented "State Record" Black Crappie .... but, the IGFA paperwork & confirmation isn't final, yet. Though, with all the credentials & documentation, DNA testing, and the help of the TWRA ... that's likely just a matter of time & getting all the "I's" dotted & "T's" crossed.

    Here's a quote from a news article in The Tomahawk, Mountain City, Tenn. that I find quite extraordinary : "It has been reported that Ferguson likely caught the state record black crappie from the same pond last summer, but that fish ended up in the skillet."
