    Thumbs up May Crappie Fishing

    Good morning all!

I am looking for some advice of good fishing spots for crappie. I am taking my family to the Douglas Dam Tailwater campground. The spots must be family friendly. Thank you

You may want to try for some bluegill also at that boat ramp. I have seen bank fishers with some nice gill stringers from the cove on the right as you are going in. Not sure of the water temperature though, should be warm enough after this week of 80’s.

    Default Success

We ended up doing really well. We caught large and small crappie Walleye, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. Great weekend of fishing.
