I haven't seen one of those in a long time. My dad used them. Seems like I remember them being made in the Reelfoot area? Post up some pics of what you make if you don't mind.
It was called a Sain's Jig. I have been contacted about tying something similar and have been doing some research and it seems to be a Tennessee thing. So I figured I would start at the source...any pics or info would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance...

Thanks ET...that's a good start...he must of made several different styles of jigs. The one this guy was talking to me about making was made with marabou...but they all had that signature cross-eyed head...I would of loved to seen how he painted those eyes...lol...I have a idea but would love to know if I was right or not..the search continues and THANKS AGAIN for your help ET...
Thanks guys for all your help. I may have found what I have been looking for thanks to this post. And it will still full hour bucket of livewell...
