    Default foot

Dang Gator, you told Cracker were I'l be, LOL. I will buy the bait, beer, and booze and dinner Cracker, all you have to do is take me to the fish at the FOOT, lol. Its my first trip down there. I've heard Crappie jump in the boat during spawning, but I'd like a local to put me on the spotts. I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas morning just waiting for this trip. 13 more days. 8 hours 20 minutes, lol.

I think they really got into the groove last weekend. I have my spot picked out but you might need a traffic cop at the boat ramps.

As far as rosey reds, tried them several times can't tell a difference.
but the main reason I don't use them is that I've read that the color red is the first color to disapear under water. and after some experimenting is seems to be true. All I want is a big ole shinner. I like it because it reflects.

You ever notice if someone pics thier pole up and you can see the shinners from 50 yrd if the sun catches it. can't see the rubies reds

    My 2 cents.

    Default cracker is right

    Hey woody,
Cracker68 is absolutely right about the shiners. I know one guy that uses reds all year and catches fish consistently. I almost never use reds. I catch 3 or 4 to one with BIG shiners. On the south end, we do pretty good with fatheads, but on the north end shiners are the only way to go.

ten good ones yesterday afternoon in about an hour.

    work is killing me!!!!!!!

    good luck woody

As far as starting they have begun and 7-eight foot of water seem to be the trick by the weekend should see a pick up in the shallower jig fishing. My buddy go 45 keeper's yesterday and threw half that may back in the morning! He came back in for lunch and I have not heard from him since. But His fish were verified by a reliable source!!!! this time LOL
