Less than 1 mile to Wolftever Boat Ramp off hwy 58, an 2.5 miles Harrison Bay State Park. Both areas are excellent this time of year for crappie fishing as well. Good Luck an Happy Birthday to your wife

I have been fishing Harrison Bay and Wolftever Creek (along with dozens of other boats) with some success. I have been trolling jigs. I fished on Monday and the water temp. ranged from 57-61 degrees. The majority of the fish that wanted to eat jigs for me came from the shallows (4-7 ft.), but the two biggest came from water about 10-12 feet.

Don't sweat it too much. Fish in likely areas and have a good time. Chances are you will be successful - After all it is Chickamauga in the spring!

    Good Luck, JayW
