    Hello all,
I'm in tennesse (knoxville area) for the next 5 weeks for some training. I would really appreciate some help finding a place to get some bank fishing in while im here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and god bless!

Years ago I was traveling to do some work in the Knoxville area. I found a peninsula near Concord Park (just SE OF Concord Skate Park). I caught a TON of fish there. I can’t remember exactly where it was, but there was a local bait shop that had some live bait too.

I often see people fishing off the Northshore bridge that crosses Turkey Creek. A new bridge has opened, and the old one was left intact, no cars. I have saw several fish lifted over that bridge. It is near Concord Park. There are also a couple of piers in that area (Turkey Creek).

If we can ever get this water level stabilized and clearer, I can probably offer a boat ride......

It's not very close to you but maybe an off day option. The tailrace below Melton hill dam. The few times I've been there it looked very promising.

The bait store near Concord is C&C Outdoors (there are two locations, so get the one by Concord, not in Louisville). All of the above mentioned places on Loudon would be good options. They’re all near the bait store.

Thanks fellas, I haven't had the opportunity to get out yet. The class load has been far more than I expected. I WILL be getting out tonight and tomorrow hopefully with a report!
