Default Planning a bachelor party at Reelfoot

    Hey guys,

As the title states I am in charge of planning a bachelor party for my best friend and a group of 7 or 8 avid outdoors-mans. We are all 24-25 years old and have all grown up hunting and fishing all over west ky, primarily land between the lakes and ky and barkley lakes. We are planing on a thursday through sunday trip near the end of march. We are trying to keep cost to a minimal and it looks like the southshore resort has some good rates on their bunk house, does anyone have any feedback on this place, or have an suggestions for other places to stay? Also, we will be bringing several jon boats used for hunting and fishing, any advice for boating the lake? And the obvious question, does anyone have some pointers on fishing the lake during this time of year? Im not looking for any secrete spots, just some pointers on the best methods. I am very interested by the lake and really look foward to this trip, i think reelfoot is a really cool place! thanks in advance for any pointers or words of wisdom. And dont be scared away by the bachelor party group, we are a pretty good group of guys just looking to catch some fish and have a relaxing weekend, and to make it to church on sunday morning!

    Thanks alot and Happy Fishing!

That sounds like a lot of fun! Check out Blue Bank. I haven't used them but they appear to do it right.

Times sure are changing. Had some florida friends go salt water fishing and then raced go-carts for a bachelor party, now we are fishing and hunting! Nice looking pic of a duck hunt. I think one of two things are about to happen- either the next pic has a lady in it or you will be one short. Best of luck to you.

Guys I have never stayed at Southshore Resort but have stayed at Cypress Point, Boyette's and Reelfoot outdoors which are nice also. If you stay at Southshore you have to eat the Boat house restaurant the 18oz. Hamburger is freaking awesome. This time of the year there will be lost of folks trolling and jig fishing. Just keep an eye on here as time gets closer there will be more reports
