    Default Cuba landing area

Got a free weekend coming up, normally fish big Sandy but want to try around Cuba area. Anyone been out around there, I know its not going to be optimal but don't get to pick my open weekends, any advise is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

I live on the Big Sandy, near the south end / Hwy 69. Its muddy, and lots of current, water may be a little less tainted as you go north toward Hwy 79 bridge, but not likely, due to current.
i plan to check out Danville, on the main river, later today, and will update tonight.

Main river is muddy, looks like Pickwick is letting alot in and ky is not letting much out today.

As blueball reported, main river is muddy as well, plus lots of current.
we fished 3 hours, no luck with jigs, another boat we talked with had 5 hours invested, 4 total, fishing minnows. Fish at 8-10 feet.

Y'all put in a Cuba Landing? We can get there in 1.5 hours vs 3 going to Sandy. Trying to get closer to get away if that makes sense. Appreciate the feed back.

I've never fished Cuba landing, but fish alot of creeks north and south of Cuba landing. With all the rain we've had Cuba landing area wouldn't be my first choice.I would be somewhere towards paris landing if I was gonna go.
