    Nice pics and great catch. Question, how deep are you catching these bluegill and are they on structure, beds, banks, Etc.? I always fish for bluegill in the late spring, early summer and catch them in the shallows on the banks. Always wanted to fish for them in the winter and would like to try. Thanks again for the pics and post!

    These fish have been in 15-18 feet of water and are just off the main river below the dam. When TVA is running lots of water, I believe that this pushes these fish into places outside of the current. We see people fishing from the bank in eddy water and catching many bluegills too. It is just that time of year, I guess.
