I did very well yesterday (Tues.) at Reelfoot. Ended up catching 54 fish, starting culling crappie by 12:30, and left at 2:00. Kept one fish just under 11"(sucker was hiding in the livewell), and nearly all were 12"-13.5". I had 8 fish 14"+, with one right at 15" (Cracker, my boat ruler needs checked, it shrunk on the way home, or I just had had too many beers)

Caught them in 8' of water on jigs tipped w/ minnows. Alot of people were catching fish. A father/son combo just to my south was absolutely tearing them up, they probably were catching 3 fish to my one and having a blast doing it.

For those of you that haven't figured it out, when Cracker tells you somewhere to go on Reelfoot, you listen!! Thanks again Crack!! I owe you some beer or something!!!!!

    SEMOmike.....Beer....my first paying customer.

It would been better if I'd been there also drinking beer and catching fish.

    Man thats the life.

I'm headed to Grenada Thursday....almost don't want to go being the fish are getting wild at the foot.
The tourney at the Reelfoot is this weekend. I bet its some big weights this time.

I think I'm going to make "GET THE NET" my battle cry when I'm slaying crappie.

I had one so big one time, that I had to tie a rope around his tail and tow him in.

You guys were talking about a tournament on Reelfoot this weekend, what kind is it? The only one I am aware of is a bass tourney on April 7. Any info would be greatly appreciated.:D

The Dyer County football booster club is having one at Reelfoot on Sat. It is sponsered by B&M poles. If you need a phone # send me a PM.
