    Default Reelfoot for a newby?

I have fished Reelfoot one time in someone elses boat, lower basin. I want to plan a spring trip there with my boat and want to know if the upper blue and buck basins were a better destination?

Also is there a navigable route between the two or is it better to trailer around by road from Buck Basin to Upper Blue?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

If you are coming in the spring, keep the wind in mind. There's lots of open water and plenty of stumps to cross over and it's no fun when the wind is blowing. Be prepared to do either. There are trails connecting all of it.
