Default My wife and another TARP

Everything is relative. That being said, this is a big fish for Fort Loudoun. This guy was hugging bottom in 20 FOW, and was tricked by a Mr. Crappie Bluegrass shad. Water temp was 81. We didn't catch a boatload, but this made up for it. She's racking up on the TARP certificates! Oh, and this fish is still swimming!Name: IMG_0654.jpg

I couldn't read the numbers on the tape, but I can tell by the smile it was a nice fish.

Tape says fish is about 16" long ... the way she's holding it (mouth open).

The tape is rarely used and has rusted. We usually use the Frabil checker, but not with this one. We knew it was gonna be released as soon as it surfaced, we just can't kill these rare bigguns! No, it's not measured correctly, but will meet the
T.A.R.P. requirements since that only requires 14".

You are so right that it don't matter how it was measured, and I meant no disrespect when I answered/clarified Cane Poles question.

It's a heck of a fish, and she has every right to be proud of it and receive a TARP citation for it.
