Default Crappie condo - oak limbs?

I trimmed some oak limbs away from our roof and i am going to use them for crappie condos - I think -a. Outlets questions:

Are the oak limbs going to be as buoyant as bamboo?

Should I do anything differ than I do when I sink bamboo condos?

I used 5 Gallon buckets and 60#s of quick Crete for the bamboo condos.

    Thanks
    Rob

I might let the leaves dry, shake them off, then sink in buckets like you have been doing or like what Bro Harrell says.
