Hey there everyone! It has been about 6 or 7 years since my buddy and I have been to reelfoot. We are getting ready to head down there friday March 9 for a 4 day weekend. Since we have been out of the loop for a while I was wondering what the best spots to fish, what to use and anything else that would be helpful this time of year. thanks for any help that is given.

Hey elflemin fish are biting now in the area of Caney pocket in about 16 foot of water. We have been catching them from 12 up to 6 feet late in the afternoon. Some have also caught good fish recently in the Moultrie field in the stems. The fish are also returning to active on the north end near grays camp as they stabilize following the bitter cold weather of a couple of weeks ago.
Good fishing

Minnows minnows minnows. Also talked to someone who caught 20 yesterday in the upper blue with jigs 8 foot deep.
If you are a true computer guru, the best map is a GIS aerial photo of Obion and Lake County for about 50-100 dollars. It can be viewed on an inexpensiveprogram called OziExplorer. You can buy a seamless digital photo of the whole county and zoom in absolute detail. This makes GoogleEarth look like crap.
