    I would have loaded it up in a cooler full of water and headed to BassPro... you know they would have paid to have that thing in their tank.

    Illinois State Record was in a Farm Pond too. Genetics, Management, Environment, whatever... they sure get big in Farm Ponds, that's for sure.

    I work with the boys brother who caught it. He was bass fishing and caught it on a spinner bait.

    And thats why i head south every spring. I'm still trying to get that 3lber. 4.1oz, what a fish. Congrats. Any more pics of it?
