    Default Crappie report at Paris area


    Was thinking of going tomorrow to Paris landing area at ky Lake and wanted to know if anyone knows of the crappie bite in this area?

    Went yesterday, a lot of boats out playing in the bays, only caught shorties.

    Just now leaving the reelfoot. Decided to just go here. Closer to home. Got here at 530 and caught several until 10-11 then it turned off like a switch. Caught 2 from 11 till 300. All in 14 fow fishing 10ft deep.

    Fished both saturday and sunday. Fished stake beds from 18 ft to 8 ft. The shallower stake beds were holding the bigger fish surprisingly. Kept 24 for both days. Had to have caught 60+ both days. Caught 3 over two pounds.

    glad to see someone catching them at reelfoot. the carp have just about turned me off from there. Im only 30 minutes from there and opt for KY lake every time.
