Default When it hits 85, sail!

Not sell! Yesterday evening the water temp had made a big jump to 82-83! The feels like temp was 157, at least in my opinion! And this was 6:30-9:00! However, some of the Ft. Loudoun crappie still wanted to eat. We fished brush in 17-25 FOW, and the fish were 10' and down. Thick, thick brush, and when you hooked em, you have to thread em back through. In a very short time we will change to our deep summer tactics. Although I would like to learn more about cranking, I am just not ideally set up for it. I have tried, even caught a few fish, but the dock shooting and vertical jigging just always jumps to the top. Someday, a new boat will appear, and it will have more than a 40 pd trolling motor. Unfortunately, that's not today!Name: IMG_0612.jpg
