Thread: Chickamauga 4/5

On vacation here from Michigan... Beautiful area, and thanks to all for a great visit. Anyway, was going to get a quick fishing trip in this morning before the rain. (which never came), and it turned out to be my best day yet down here. Trolled with mini offshore planers and 1/32 oz jigs in 10 to 13 ft. Had a limit of delicious crappie by 10 am. Best was 2" berkley powerbait minnows. Biggest was a plump 14 incher. Those are pretty hard to come by in Michigan so she will end up on my wall as a reminder of a great vacation.
Now that I have them figured out, the kids will want to come along on an evening catch and release troll.
