The wind was calm up until around 9 am and then it blew us off our spot so we moved locations ( to my secret hideaway) and managed several more giant black crappie before finally calling it a day with 12 total. 2 of our friends were able to hold in the wind with a big anchor and knocked out a 2 man limit with some slabs of their own. The water temps were in the mid to high 50's and many fish were right on the bank. We never fished in water over 8' deep. Silver and black Bobby Garland fished under a float was the big fish bait.
