Thread: Aug 20-26 Pigeon Forge first time visit

Hi, we are planning on our first vacation trip to Pigeon Forge, TN Aug 20-26. As we are from Maryland we were interested in at least a couple of ideas of where we should try fishing within 50 miles. We are more interested in pan fishing rather than trout and planning on talking with local bait shop when we arrive too. Please send me a personal message if you want to share that too.

Although I have only fished it a few times, Douglas Lake would be the best lake close to PF. A close second would be Cherokee Lake (Bassmaster has a tournament going on as we speak on Cherokee). With the abundance of TVA lakes in the general area, you have many choices, but those two will fit your 50 mile criteria.
