I fished from 8 til 2 SB Sunday myself, caught 24 and kept 22 very nice fish. I was in ten to twelve feet of water fishing anywhere from six to ten feet down. Wind was rough early but ended up laying down for a beautiful day on the water...
So I checked Reelfoot out yesterday due to the beautiful weather and light wind we had yesterday. I caught a few decent fish when I finally found some in 6-8 FOW, fishing 2-4 feet deep. Now I can't say that I seen every strike, some could have been light but the ones I did catch thumped it pretty good, they didn't run with it they just knocked the fire out of it and held on. They were some chunky fish. There were other boats fishing deeper water that were more than likely catching fish, but for the most part we had the lake to ourselves bc of the SB. It was a good day to be on the lake!

I'm thinking about going again Sunday if I can manage to find a place to be out of the wind. I'm thinking the east side of GIP would be pretty well protected, Watchu think BigDfromTenn?
