Best way to start the new year...fishing...thanks for letting me tag along. You are the best!
My friend, Candi went with me today to the Riverpark area below Chickamauga dam for some bluegill fishing. We caught lots of little ones, but kept 13 that were 8" or more for dinner. We also caught a couple of yellow perch and yellow bass. They were too small to keep as well. But, Dr Phil caught a yellow perch with me yesterday in the lake that was 11.5" and qualified for a TARP award. I will post that pic along with a couple today. Water temp was 49.9 when we finished today. Wax worms and crickets were the bait of choice today. Our terminal tackle were #6 Aberdeen gold hooks fished about 12-15" above the smallest bass casting sinker that I have. It must be 1/8 oz or less.
Well, I have accidentlly deleted the big TARP yellow perch. Not the first time that I have done a dumb thing. Sorry. It was a beaut.
