    Default Crappie fishing in Nashville?

I just moved to Franklin from North Little Rock, Arkansas and am looking for a little direction. From what I've gathered, Priest is about as good as it gets around here. I'm going out on Friday am with my GPS and am looking for a good starting point. Look forward to talking with y'all and thanks in advance.

Also, Is there any Duck Hunting near?

Another option is the creek or rivers that feed the lakes. I did pretty good on parts of the Stones river in college. Caught abunch of differnet types but did get into crapppie on several occasions. You can wade or use a small boat on it like a flat bottom or canoe.

Also check out some of the state ponds in and around there. Think they are called "family lakes" on the TWRA site.
If in doubt, cross their eyes!!

One of the things I learned while in TN is that there is great fishing almost everywhere, and if you don't mind drivin a couple hours there is a lot more. Northern Alabama, Center Hill, Watts Barr, Elk, Pickwick, Wheeler, Wilson. Just take a look at a map of that part of TN. There is water all over the place. Your even only a little over 3 hrs to Sardis.
Good things come to those who bait.
